The Voice of the Prairie was a wild, complex adventure. It was my first experience playing a villain in a play, which pushed hard against my usual Baymax-like state of being friendly and huggable. It encouraged me to stand up for myself as an actor, and ask questions about direction I didn't understand or objected to. Not to outright disagree with it, but to ask questions to better understand the director's vision. It was also a new experience working with actors I had disagreements with. They're largely too personal to list here, but there were a few cast members I had an extracurricular disagreement with. Learning to put those differences aside for the sake of the production wasn't easy, but was valuable.

The Voice of the Prairie tells the story of David and Francis, two friends as children who's paths separated while they were still young. But when David becomes one of the most prominent storytellers on the newfangled radio broadcast system, his tales of his childhood adventures grab the attention of Francis. They'll have to work hard to clear up their history and rekindle their friendship.
